Went there for the first time and loved it. It’s an interesting set-up with an inside restaurant and an outside bar with table seating as well. The inside seems very different than the outside. We sat outside and it was wonderful. The staff and patrons were friendly and outgoing. So many people knew each other and were just having a great time. There was a musician playing a guitar and singing. He was not just good but was the best musician I have ever seen at a venue that doesn’t seat 5000 or more. Yes, he was that good! He did Queen, Hendrix, Stevie Nicks, the Beatles, the Stones, Punk Floyd and … He did what sounded like an acoustic version but included guitar solos rivaling those of the original artists! He also played at a dB level that was perfect for a small bar. If you’ve read this far I am sure you didn’t think you were going to get a music review. Here is more of what you probably came to read. The food was good. I ordered the mushroom burger and fries and my wife had a salad with chicken added. It came out quickly and everything was at the right temperature. The prices were fair and the food quality matched the prices. We got to know one of the owner who spent time making sure we were well taken care of. We learned that the restaurant opened in early January of this year. What I liked was that the owners were working as hard as the staff and everyone treated each other well. I learned that they truly want this to be a success and I would say they are well on their way of that happening! We also got to know our server on a personal level. She was wonderful! The foundation is in place for this restaurant to thrive. The staff was personable and treated us like friends. The food was good. The entertainment exceptional (though I wouldn’t expect there to even be an entertainer most nights though on this particular Saturday night we received a treat). 718 Cafe & Grill, thankyou for giving us a great evening!
We had a great time! Such a fun atmosphere. I’ve come with my kids for lunch it was very family friendly and then also for brunch with friends and both times the service and food was amazing! Will definitely be back 😃
Stumbled upon this hidden gem, a New York inspired diner in Tequesta. It truly felt like home. The staff was warm and friendly, and the food was exceptional. I loved the fig panini and the orzo salad. We sat outside listening to the live music under the palm trees. We loved it so much we went back for breakfast the next day! I recommend the waffles and pancakes. I'll definitely be back soon!
